Car description

1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V Cartier Edition. Runs and drives great. Has the 460, Automatic. 91,000 miles on the odometer. This is a well kept driver car. The interior is white crushed velour and in excellent condition. It appears to have the original tan shag carpeting which is in excellent condition also. All the gauges work including the clock. The power windows both work fine also. The headlight doors both work but will open after a few hours due to a vacuum leak in the switch.
The body has had a repaint at some point in time and a few touch ups here and there along he way but nothing serious.the fenders are very solid with some surface rust starting. The rockers are very solid because the car appears to have been professionally rust proofed. There are drilled access holes, w/plugs on them, along the rockers. The rear wheelwells are both solid with the exception of the right rear bottom corner(see pic.). The mud flap has become detached there because a rust hole has started there. There is quit a bit of rustproofing all over the under carriage and you can see some of it is starting to bubble and peel off as see in the pics.
Overall this is a very nice driver quality car. It has a fabulous ride and is great for cruise night, weekend drives, and so on. I just rebuilt the factory holley carb and it has all new tires on it.
