Up for auction is one 1987 Lincoln Towncar Cartier. It has been my driver since 2006. Now has 135,9××. miles. Original paint in pretty good shape for 30 years, with just some parking lot dings. I have replaced many parts including distributor, water pump, fuel pump, smog pump, Moog idler arm and bushings, brakes all the way around including rotors, drums, wheel cylinders and the rubber lines included. New battery. Trans was rebuilt by local shop and was setup for better towing. Has a reese hitch, adjustable air shocks, large transmission cooler and she runs at 160 degrees in Florida heat. All the windows and locks and trunk pulldown work. Power antenna works. A/C was converted to R134 and blows very cold. The heater core needs replaced to have heat, but the new part is included and presently it is bypassed so it doesn't affect use of car. Pioneer stereo am/fm cd player with all speakers replaced with better. Nice sound. Presently has 2006 Mustang rims with good Bridgestone Ecopia tires on it, but it also comes with the original alluminum turbine wheels with firestones in so so condition. This is the 4th Lincoln I have had, so I have some extra parts like tailight assemblies and switches and service manual, electrical/vacuum manual and code scanner included. Clear Florida title and two sets of keys.Time to pass it on to another.Stopped using in October 2016 but runs good and shifts good and drives great for a big car. Eligible for antique tags now.A new top and some seat upholstery and you will have a fine collectible that looks good anywhere. Happy to answer any questions or send additional pics or schedule showing. This is being sold as is without warranty.
