Car description

For sale is my outstanding original 1970 Lincoln Coupe. These cars are far more rare than Mark III's and is strikingly beautiful. The exceptionally clean lines make the body very sleek in appearance. This car is a fantastic original car in paint, glass, vinyl top, chrome, seats, dash etc. At some point minor paint, body work was done to the left front fender. Being a nearly 50 year old original, it does have minor imperfections which are shown in the pictures. The car starts, runs, drives and stops as it should. Everything works on the car including the vacuum door locks, vacuum trunk release, power windows, seats, 8-Track Tape player, power antenna etc. The dash pad is beautiful with one small hole left over from a compass the original owner installed. The seats are in excellent condition with one sall tear in the driver's area and one on the driver's side of the armrest. The air conditioning compressor clutch does engage but the air is not cold, so perhaps it is low on Freon. The tires are new and were custom made to replicate the dual-stripe white walls only available on the 1970 Continentals. Basically, this car needs nothing mechanically and can be driven anywhere. The vinyl top is original with no tears, it does however have the very common bubbling at the lower corners of the rear window. This vehicle spent all of its life in Florida - there is no rust, Bondo or filler anywhere. While I have no under body pictures at this time, the floors, trunk floor, rockers are extremely straight and solid with NO RUST. I know these Lincolns and this is a beautiful straight clean honest 60,000 mile car. I know the history of car since its delivery. I am actually only the third owner. I would love to keep the car but I purchased a 1977 Lincoln Coupe last December and I have no room.
Please call me with questions, 847-997-9944. I'm asking a very reasonable $12,000 for this car but I need to sell it so a close enough offer will buy the car.
