1966 Lincoln Continental Convertible. Very nice driver condition that is in very original condition other than a repaint. This Lincoln was traded on another vehicle that I owned. It has the original color of Teal from the 1966 Lincoln brochure car with its original white leather interior which is in very good condition for its age and being white. Door panels are original as well and dash board is beautiful with no cracking at all. The seats have the usual wear of a 50 year old car. but all the seams and piping are in tact and there are no areas worn through. The carpet is black and is in usable condition but showing some wear in the front area and lower front doors. The arm rests on the doors are in very good condition and the window switch plates fit well. The steering wheel in excellent condition with the horn operating correctly. All the driving lights work correctly but the interior door lights do not work. probably a fuse issue since all of them are out and the door locks are not operating either. The white convertible top is almost brand new and is in excellent condition and fits nicely and has its glass back window. The Convertible top operates correctly but the flip tray is a little slow if I had one comment and the trunk needs a new liner kit. The optional quarter panel "Trunk Key Switch" for 1966 was not ordered on this car. The top locks down properly when it meets the windshield frame. The chrome is very good on the car with minimal pitting and both front and back bumpers have been refinished recently are are in beautiful condition. The stainless mouldings are all very good and dent free. The original hubcaps are beautiful as are the wheel open mouldings. The Car has 4 new correct size whitewall radials with less than 1000 miles and new brakes. The airconditioning compressor has been removed at some point by the previous owner but all the rest of the plumbing is there. The majority of exhaust has been replaced with correct fitting pipes and mufflers. The engine starts easily and runs very smooth and has its correct blue paint finish. The transmission seems to operate smoothly as well. The power windows operate well and the drivers door has a new motor but the vent windows do not seem to operate. The rear windows drop as they should when the rear doors are opened. The glass is all in very good condition including the convertible top rear window. All 4 doors open and close easily with correct gaps. The paint on the car is very nice with minimal chips and a beautiful shine. There has been some work done on the rear lower quarters at some point and there is some minor bubbling visible upon very close inspection. The over all finish of the car is total usable as an every day driver just the way it is. The odometer reads 39. 00 miles but I have no way of verifying true mileage. This is not a show car but it is a very pretty usable driver or a great basis for a complete restoration depending on your level of interest in these last model Lincoln convertibles. I believe I have described the car honestly and all questions will be answered. The car is in Toronto Canada and can easily be shipped back to the USA.
