Car description |

Solid Driver Quality. 66K original miles. Purchased the car to do a full restoration on it but after seeing the cars good condition, being that all of the windows work great, convertible top goes up and down as it should and wiper, windshield liquid pump, fan blower, electric antenna, radio works as well and the car running smooth and stopping well, we decided the car was in too good enough condition to restore it at this point. So I decided to sell it as a nice driver quality 63 Convertible for someone to continue to drive and enjoy it for a few more years.
Car is Tan on Tan on Tan. The paint is driver quality (which means a good looking car for causing around town but not ready to be entered into a car show), the leather interior is in really good condition with no tears/rips and the tan carpet is presentable. The dash is in very good condition and the doors are in good condition as well. Exterior chrome bumpers are in pretty good shape and still shine well. Stainless peak trim including the 2 Continental quarter panel scripts are in great shape. Car is super straight as you can see in the pictures highlighting the stainless peak trim on the left and right side. All glass including the windshield is in great condition with no cracks. Tires are in good condition with a lot of life on them still (no dry rot). Hubcaps are in pretty good condition (only a couple of pressure dings on a couple of them near the edge) Door gaps are very good and all 4 doors open and shut well which is rare on a 60's Lincoln convertible. There are 2 very small exterior dents which are slightly noticeable and are not too bad but I pointed them out in a couple of pictures. Few small surface rust spots near the under trunk lid, door jam area and behind one of the passenger rocker panels but are not seeing from the exterior of the car. Nothing major and could be easily addressed when the car eventually receives a repaint down the road or whenever the new owner would like to restore the car. Undercarriage and rockers of the car are solid, no holes in the floor panels and there is slight surface rust under the car like every Lincoln has. Recent tune up done on the car consisting of an oil and filter changed, air filter changed, fuel filter changed and tweaking a few odds and ends. All headlights, brake lights, turning signals and reverse lights work. AC system charged. Fresh battery. Car starts right up and drives and shifts smooth.
Located in San Jose CA 95124. Come take a look if your close by or please feel free to email or text me if you would like additional info. Or if you like to see a video of the car etc.
I can assist the new buyer with quoting and coordinating transportation after the auction. I have been using 1Flat-Rate Transportation company many times on eBay and they do a good job. Thank you for your interest! And happy Bidding

1963 Lincoln Continental
The 1963 Continental remained much of the same from the previous year except for the rear panel design and new grille. The Lincoln Continental was the only 4-door convertible offered on the American market. Available again in 1963 was the suicide doors that opened to the center and hinged to the body instead of the center pillar. Plus a light on the instrument panel blinks a warning if the rear doors are not fully closed when the ignition is on. The entire body of the 4-door sedan is welded into a single unit and protected by four coats of baked enamel. Standard features on the Continental included a 430 cid V8 engine, automatic transmission, power windows, power brakes, and power steering.
