1991 Lincoln Town Car - Super Nice with Low Mileage

SUPER NICE 1991 LINCOLN TOWNCAR WITH LOW MILEAGE

Bought this car in January of this year simply to get to work and back. Have recently changed jobs and now deliver products to customers. Need to purchase a smaller sized car that is better on gas since I will be driving the majority of time. Additionally, I do NOT want to put the miles on this car as this is really a great car (and rated as one of the safest cars to drive as they just don't make cars as solid and safe as this car anymore)! It's such a smooth drive and body is in great shape . . . both externally AND internally. Engine, transmission, AC and heater are all in great shape as well.

The previous owners were an elderly couple who had passed away and their son decided to sell this car to me. According to the seller, this car was kept in a garage the majority of its life. There are some scratches on outside of car from normal wear and tear but I can guarantee you that this car has less “wear and tear” on its body than you would see on a fairly new car today. Just take a look at the pictures that have been uploaded and see for yourself.

When I purchased this car earlier THIS YEAR, I had a mechanic look at it to ensure it was truly in such good shape as it appeared, The mechanic confirmed it was. However, after purchasing the car, I realized that the mileage odometer was not working. Since I had already bought the car at that point, I took it back to a mechanic and it was determined that this car's mileage odometer had NEVER been tampered with or changed in any way. The odometer just quit working at some point. Because I have owned this car for such a short amount of time and because my prior place of employment was less than 3 miles from my home, I have put very few miles on this car since purchasing it. Thus, based on information received from previous owner combined with the estimated 6,500 miles I have put on this car (and this is a HIGH estimate), it is estimated that this car has less than 110,000 MILES on it!!!! In all honesty, I would not be selling this car had I not accepted another position requiring me to be on the road the majority of time (now making the cost of gas over time my #1 priority).

I am a perfectionists when it comes to taking care of my cars. Below is a list of items I have had a mechanic replace and out of honesty, there are 2 non-urgent issues that came with the car when I originally bought it in January if 2016:

There are only 2 non-urgent issues that came with this car when I purchased it in January, 2016.

They are as follows:

• Check engine light is on but diagnostic testing revealed a code of #332 which is the EGR valve ($49.00 part plus labor to put it in). This is the ONLY code that comes up on the diagnostic test (and I have had this done twice to ensure accuracy of test). I never had this fixed as mechanic stated it wasn’t a big deal. I have driven the car with this issue since purchasing it in January, 2016.

• Three of the four windows will not roll down (only passenger window rolls down). However, due to both AC and Heater working perfectly, this hasn’t been an issue for me (and since the passenger window still rolls down, you can still get fresh air if you like).

NOTE: These two items are inexpensive to fix. Due to time constraints of when I start new job, I just don’t have time to have these fixed. However, I will factor this in to the purchase price of this car.

This car is a trooper! She not only looks great, but she starts up every single day and she will get you ANYWHERE you want to go AND WHAT A SMOOTH DRIVE SHE IS! But, be careful . . . she is such a smooth drive that you have to watch the speedometer as she will roll with the best of them! If you like safety, a nice looking car that has been taken well care of and low mileage, then this car is definitely for you!! Don't wait long as I anticipate her selling quickly!
