1969 Lincoln Continental Rare 2dr Coupe! Low Production Numbers! We are selling our beloved so fine 69. The car is a beautiful tripple black laser straight body professionally painted by a well known hot rod shop using only the best PPG products at a cost of nearly $10k. All body lines line up nicely and the doors open and close very smooth. All power windows roll up and down but are kinda slow when doors are closed but ok with doors open. The seals slow them down. Im including the new window seals for the doors. The front and rear bumpers were color matched to give it a nice touch. The stainless trim is in excellent condition. This car is solid with little to no filler! Under the hood is whats believed to be the original 8-cyl. 460cid/365hp 4bbl v-8 thats been rebuilt by the previous owner with paperwork to show rebuild. He told me the shop rebuilt the original engine to the car but I never checked numbers to verify. Newly rebuilt Holley carb and new fuel pump. The automatic trans shifts nice and the car runs quietly and smoothly down the road and just floats. The motor really pushes this heavy car nicely and has a ton of power. Disc brakes in front and drums in the rear. Has Power steering but no a/c. The tires are almost full tread and the car comes with the original Lincoln hubcaps or the 1957 Cadillac caps your choice. Now for the interior, ull luxury, ts been professionally redone at a cost of $6,500 using black leather and in beautiful condition no rips, ears, tains. Has front power seats and the rear seat has a small pinstripe Lincoln logo stitched in the middle done tastefully. There is a full stereo system at a cost of $8k with cd player that has input to plug into phone or ipod to play music. Lower mid range kick panels molded to fit and wrapped in leather. The trunk is finished off as well with carpeting and matching leather a Lincoln logo incorporated and houses the speakers and the 2 amps for display. It has 4.. 8" subs mounted very nice and clean and the stereo rocks! Please keep in mind getting these old Lincolns to this condition is very expensive and over twice my reserve! Just finding a 2dr coupe rust free is hard enough. If your in the market for one here it is..Someone is going to get a deal.. Overall car runs and drives great, ooks great, ut with any old car there will be things that are needed so keep that in mind. This is not a full show car and will have flaws here and there, ome things on the to do list are : The engine bay was last on my list to pretty up but very presentable.. steering column wiggles a bit and needs looked into probably needs tightend up, ome small dings on lower rocker trim. The front clear blinker lenses have cracks but hold together fine and are easy to find if you wanna purchase new ones. Dont let these small things detour you.
