Plenty of POWER in the 460 V8 original motor.Interior:We just had ALL windows on the car completely professionally serviced by a LINCOLN SPECIALIST and they work great from ALL switches. Some a bit slower from lack of use but all work well!Factory Original Color CODE 99 Seats (Green Leather). Seats are 100% Factory Originals and in good condition.They do show some Patina/wear but are still in good shape. No tears or rips. (See Photos)-Door panels are in great shape-Dashboard is in PERFECT SHAPE (see Photo) NO CRACKS like MOST-All gauges work-A/C needs serviced from lack of use.-Steering Wheel is Perfect. NO CRACKS or SEPARATIONCarpet isOriginal& has some fading in Rear and separations on floor from being dried out. Original Floor Mats are in Great shape and hide most carpet imperfections.Trunk LOOKS Great inside. Again, ost Lincoln convertible sellers hide the inside of the trunk as they are usually in bad shape with hydraulic fluid soaked dirty carpets and paint over spray on All wire harnesses etc. This one is great. LikeNEWProfessional Carpet Replacement was completed Last year along with its spare tire and cover. Basically interior on car is in good overall condition as photos will show.Exterior:-The paint on the car is in good shape. Read description below...The car was re-painted in its original RARE (Spanish Moss Metallic)R Code about 15 years ago. Buyer should expect a minor flaws in the paint. Hood and trunk have some paint blems that bubbled for no apparent reason?? Would be easy cheap fix for a local body shop to blend/ respray hood to correct.Driver-sidelower front quarter and just behind rear door has some chipping paint on bottom with surface rust Only.Otherwisethis car is rust free. No rust thru at all. Very StraightLines. No filler on this car. Doors Close Super Solid and tight.Feels fantastically solid when doors close. Undercarriage is super solid and looks great. (See photos)I would rate the paint condition as driver condition because of the blemishes but overall veryusableas is. I am probably being harsh on description in the interest of full disclosure. Motor sounds great and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smoothly into all gears and floats down the road. Power steering works great. Can steer car with one finger. A pleasure to drive!Recent Maintanance Completed...-Fresh Oil change-Removed gas Tank, leaned and sealed Tank-Replaced Gas Tank Sending Unit.-All STAINLESS Dual Exhaust from front to back ($2,200) installed 3 years (Should last for many many years)-Rear Brakes serviced-Front end GreasedEngine bay is VERY clean and well kept. (see photos)Note: This car has been driven ONLY about 25 test miles since being removed from private collection. Drives like a dream with no known issues other than constant THUMBS up from on lookers, UT should REALLY be looked at by your mechanic before taking on any long trips. Check belts, oses, tc just to be safe.Tires are Brand New from 5 years ago. Under 50 miles on them. They do seem to have some flat spots from sitting that might smooth out once car is driven. Tires are soft and not cracked. 100% TreadCONVERTIBLE TOP: PERHAPS MOST IMPORTANT WHEN IT COMES TO BUYING ONE OF THESE LINCOLNS....THE TOP!!!! EVERYTHING was gone thru including EVERY Relay, LL pumps, VERY LIMIT SWITCH etc. at a cost of over $5000 which did include the power window servicing as well. Any one that knows these cars, nows that it is VITAL to buy one already serviced for its top and windows!! They are not cheap to have fully serviced but once this is complete they will work and last for another 40 years. This service was just completed last week.
