I have for auction a 1979 Triple baby blue (factory color on body, oof, nd interior) Lincoln Mark V Continentalin excellent condition overall.32,000 original, ocumented miles.I belive these miles to be correct.I was told they are correct and I have documentation. But with the age of the car who knows.Could be 130k.This car was Purchased new in Lebanon, O on July 24, 979 .I am the 3rd owner Starts & runs flawlessly . Unmolested factory original engine. Leather interior is in great condition-- the front seats show some minor wear and the back seats are almost perfect. Both opera windows are without defect. There are no cracks or rock chips in any of the window glass. Both power door windows operate fine -- the switches on both doors work both windows. The original vinyl roof is in good condition .there are small cracks in the vinyl and would be inexpensive to have replaced. There is no body damage and no evidence that there has been any crash damage . the only observable flaws are a small crack in one of the red reflectors on the trunk lid and a couple of small nicks from road debris. Headlight covers work flawlessly. Nearly new NAPA-brand battery. Entire instrument panel is operational including the Cartier clock (with day & date) .Full-size spare tire in trunk under original, arpeted spare tire cover. Air conditioner blows cool (not frigid cold.Heat blows hot.Original factory radio (with cassette player) works with great radio reception. The factory turbine-style wheels are in exceptional condition ~ There is no rust visible anywhere on this car ~ Without a doubt, he overall condition of this car is between a No. 2 and a No. 3 (Class 2 and Class 3) There are only3 flaws that I have discovered or can see: 1. A small section (approx. 24") of the original headliner has come unstitched and gaps open -- this should be repaired by an upholstery shop (not with a couple dabs of contact cement!). 2.The hard plastic steering wheel has a small cracked place, ndoubtedly from temperature variations over the years -- it isn't very noticeable, ut it's there.3 The power door lock switches do not work -- this has never bothered me so I've never had the issue analyzed. These Mark V cars are rare -- there are literally only a few hundred across the country in this condition. The factory triple color combinations (exterior, inyl roof, nd interior) are even more difficult to locate in more than acceptable condition.).Car is a blast to drive...Gets attention everywhere I go.I reserve the right to end aution early unless reserve has been met. Thanks for bidding and have a great day.Feel free to give me a call at 615-426-0123 anytime
