Car description |

I am selling this car as a parts or repair car. It would need expensive repairs to keep it in service. Might be worth fixing to someone who does the work themselves but I think realistically it would be a great car to part out.
First the good. The drive train is still functioning perfectly with smooth shifts and no noises. The engine runs great but has what I think is a lifter tick. It has been ticking ever since I bought the car years ago with 95,000 miles and it has never been a problem. Does not use any oil between changes. All switches and controls work except the heated seat buttons are very stubborn. Brakes still have some life left in them. Light assemblies are all still good, left front light assembly is less than a year old and was very expensive.
Now the bad. There is an emissions tube that runs up to the back of the intake manifold and is broken off at the flange. The only way to get to it is by partially removing the engine. My mechanic said 20 hours labor. Part was about $250 from Lexus. Tires are getting worn and would need replacing soon, emergency brake cables probably need to be replaced, needs new rear struts and probably should have fronts done as well. Power antenna is stripped and won't go up and down. LCD display for heater controls is unreadable. Has a slow power steering fluid leak. Traction control is not functioning. Hood had a very large dent. The rest of the body has dings scraps and small dents and the paint is poor. Small amount of rust starting to show.
I still have the car registered so if you would like to inspect it first that can be arranged. Located in Hamburg NJ 07419. Note: pictures were taken this past summer. No damage since that time but it is dirtier.
