1990 LAND ROVER DEFENDER 110 HIGH CAPACITY PICK UP: --Mosswood Brown metallic, Grey fabric interior, Restored, 19J 2.5 Liter 4-cylinder Turbo Diesel engine, 5-Speed manual transmission, Excellent throughout. The Land Rover Defender 110 needs no introduction as one of the most iconic four-wheel drive vehicles of all time. Production of the model now known as the Defender began in 1983 as the Land Rover 110, a name which reflected the 110-inch (2,800 mm) length of the wheelbase. Outwardly, there is little to distinguish the post-1983 vehicles from the Series III Land Rover. The Defender 110’s were modernized, including Coil springs, offering a more comfortable ride and improved axle articulation, a permanent four-wheel-drive system derived from the Range Rover, a modernized interior and a taller one-piece windscreen. The High Capacity Pick Up variation allowed for easier open access for hauling and built upon the proven and rugged Defender chassis. This D110 Pick Up was recently fully restored in Italy and imported to the United States. The Defender was completely stripped and treated to a frame-off restoration with the frame and body sanded and then primed and painted in Mosswood Brown metallic. The paint includes 1oz of gold flake to make it sparkle. The upholstery is a custom Grey fabric with Black vinyl. The bed of the truck was fitted with custom teak-wood. Other fitments and upgrades include Sawtooth wheels with new tires, Engine snorkel, new hood with Black diamond plating, new grille, LED lights and a Marshall sound system with Bluetooth. The intercooled, turbo charged 19J diesel 4-cylinder engine is in excellent order and shows 99K miles. It has recently had a full servicing to ensure its being ready for its next new owner. The quality and condition of both the interior and exterior will be appreciated by anyone who knows and lusts for the ownership of a rare Defender 110 Pick Up! This Pick Up is superb throughout and ready for immediate use on or off the road.
