Initially we were going to sand down the original paint for a fresh coat of paint – however once we had the new Soft Top fitted, we fell in love with it as it is. There is just something unique about a 1984 Defender with its Original Paint. (We would be happy to re-paint this beauty to whatever color you would like if that is what you truly want – just message us directly with your paint color and clarify if you want it to have a Matt finish or High Gloss Finish)

This Defenders original Engine was not powerful for us at the end of the day, so we promptly removed it and replaced it with an upgraded 200TDi Engine that we had reconditioned in 2019. The 200TDI Engine had less than 50,000 miles on it and truly did not require a lot of work to get to its current state. This Defender Runs and Drives beautifully. All of the Electrics are fully functional and problem free. We replaced rear crossmember and outriggers on the Defender yielding a very complete / very solid Chassis. We also replaced the Front and Rear Brakes as well as its shocks and Springs. It has new rear bench seats benches along with new rear seat belts. Additionally, we have installed a Bluetooth stereo along with new Front/Under Dash Speakers as well as new Rear Speaker Panels & Speakers.

Overall this is an outstanding Defender with an upgraded very young 200TDI Engine with a completely untouched original ICONIC Land Rover Patina Paint Finish. The new Soft Top and Support bars are from Exmoor.
