We are offering for sale a very original 1992 Defender 110 5-Door Station Wagon.

Manufactured on the 11th May 1992, she is a genuine left hand drive Defender 110 finished in her original Eastnor Green and fitted with the much sought after "200TDI" 2500cc Turbo Diesel Engine, this model was only manufactured from early 1990 onwards and is a large step forward from the 19J 2.5 Turbo Diesel. This car is not to be compared to Defenders from the 80s, here we have a Defender which can happily cruise at 60mph all day long.
The vehicle has lived its whole life in the Jaen region of Spain which is well known to be one of the driest parts of Europe, hence the perfect condition of the chassis. Not to be confused with your usual RHD UK rust buckets or Northern European Defenders, try finding a UK Defender with its original chassis date stamps still showing!!!!
The Defender was in daily use when we purchased it, so it's not a barn find with seized brakes etc, this is a fully operational Defender in need of TLC.

The Good:
Very original LHD 1-owner car
Fitted with factory AC (not functioning)
Chassis original and with zero rust
Engine starts easily and runs smoothly
Power Steering working fine
Transfer box smooth and working fine
All matching numbers, and chassis shows date stamps.
The Bad
2nd gear synchro is warn, so there is a slight crunch when changing from 3rd to 2nd, the rest of the shifts are smooth with no issues.
Slight rust at the bottom of the bulkhead.
Plenty of dents and scratches.
Will require complete suspension refresh (bushes, ball joints with play)
Brakes work but pedal is low and a bit spongy.
As the photos show, this vehicle has been a work horse of the Spanish olive fields so is tired looking inside and out.
This is the perfect vehicle for someone looking for an original rust-free 110 5-Door to restore to her former glory or covert into an LS3 Fire Breathing Defender!
