Car description

Any questions? Feel free to call or text me anytime at 540-830-1561. This is a daily driver herbie and no i didnt drive it in the snow :0 I have no idea how many miles are on it. You can drive across the country in this right now if you really wanted to. I've had this for a year. I've got $5. 00 into it so my loss is your gain. I'm moving into a house and I need to sell it :( Since I've owned it. I have only been running non-ethanol gas in herbie and i suggest you do the same. Ive only used HD-30 oil too. The valves were properly adjusted a few weeks ago set to . 006. The engine has also been timed perfectly and that was done the same day as the valves. The top half of the engine was rebuilt new last summer. The oil has 1. 00 miles on it. The tires are acceptable. The emergency brake cable just snapped but I've already got a new one for the new owner. The clear coat for the paint is fading but it still looks ok :/ Brand new Sony detachable face single disc cd player with Bluetooth and usb no speakers sorry. You can learn to do all the work yourself by watching on youtube "classic vw bugs" with chris vallone. You will learn everything you need to know about taking this herbie to the next step. The hard part has already been done. You can get all your parts from mid atlantic motorworks. Call for a free catalog if you do not have one already. So many things have been done to this car over the last year or so. new floors. new ignition. new cooling fan. 2 transmission mounts. new plugs. new belt. new steering dampener. new engine wiring. all 4 wheel bearings inner and outer are new. new horn. new cylinder head. new passenger side stub axle. front and back struts are new. the brakes have been attended to and work fine. Herbie does NOT pull to the left or right if you jam on the brakes real quick. The clutch is newer. It holds the car in place firmly when parked. A new clutch cable adjuster was replaced last summer and so many more things. The front and back seats are pretty nice. all glass is great. all glass seals are fine except for the outer door seals which will need to be replaced. The vent windows work properly and close tightly. No wind noise at all. Car runs really strong once it's warmed up. There is no headliner. no carpet. no insulation. and only one door panel. The fuel filter up front and a couple lines up front will need replacing. I have a bucket of random parts to go along with it. I have the headliner bows and random stuff like that.
