PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD! And remember ; I am taking best offers on this Range Rover Classic, but you will have to call me to make offer! I will ignore any messages sent, text or otherwise. Picking up the phone is the first and best way you can show me you are serious about buying now, messages show me your are not a Closer.
This is a zero-rust, excellent condition Range Rover Classic we have here for sale. I have a small collection of about 5 of these right now, and this is the nicest one I was going to build up for myself. I have a few Defender 90s and a 110 I am having to put more money into at this time, however, so I am going to offer this truck up to raise some money for the other projects.
I am taking best offers on this - But you need to call me to discuss any questions including price.
I purchased this Cornish Cream / White Range Rover classic at the beginning of the summer. It had been sitting idle for about 2 years, and I did have to buy a new battery and fuel pump to get it to run. It runs great now, and sounds aggressive/ throaty with its new stainless steel Flowmaster exhaust!
Interior needed a bit of clean up. Seats look good, but drivers side has some small tears (pictured here). Leather not perfect, but looking pretty good regardless.
Air suspension has been replaced with coil springs at some time, looks and drives great.
Headliner was sagging in the past, and so it has push pins holding it up.
Most everything seems to work on it -- all windows work, all lights work, windshield wipers work.
Might be easier to tell you what does NOT work :
A) Heater blower fan motor is seized. Will need new blower motor (included with sale) installed.
B) Cruise control did not work, I dont think...
C) Central locking from drivers side door did not work from outside.
D) There is a dent behind the passenger side rear wheel where someone backed into the truck while it as parked. Pretty easy fi, but prevents the truck from being 'perfect'
E) Worst thing about the truck is ... Every now and then, it will die. The, it will not start for a while. Maybe 5 minutes, maybe an hour. It happens at very inopportune time for me, not that is is ever fun being stranded anyplace. Nothing funny happening before this happens, no warning, engine just dies suddenly and does not re-start. I have traced this to no spark when it is happening, but I do not know why, and I have not really spent much time investigating this, as I purchased to convert to 300Tdi turbo diesel anyway.... I think it may have something to do with alarm? Maybe? But I am not sure. After it sits a while, I get in and it starts right up and drives fine again for a day or two. Or three. Or more. But in the meantime, I have begun to avoid using this truck as I do not want to pay for any more tows, or be embarrassed in an intersection.
F) Radio not hooked up.
GOOD STUFF :
A) Tires are meaty and look great.
B) This roof rack is the elusive, original factory-option German roof rack that was only available for a couple of years. In great condition. If the truck does NOT sell this time around, I may be open to selling rack for about a grand, but I may want to keep it for another one of my 2-door Range Rover Classics.
C) Truck has absolutely ZERO RUST, ANYWHERE. Rear hatch great. Floors great. All normal 'worry areas' are perfect. Great truck to fix up and keep forever. These are just going up in value, and the Long Wheelbase trucks get a premium price and have a lot more room for rear passengers/ stuff!
D) All windows work, lights all work, seats work.
E) Has HID High intensity headlights installed -- Not just a bulb swap, but the whole kit with aplifiers / etc for high intensity headlights, very bright at night!
F) 4.2L engine starts easily and runs great (until ignition problem occurs) sounds great, transmission shifts like new ---- Great drive.
---- Not sure what else to tell you about the truck. CALL ME with any questions.
