This is a running and driving restoration project, we can export this Defender to the US as we have exported many over the years. High bidder wins, high bid does not include shipping, extra parts and 200tdi engine (it has a 19j engine now as is original to the vehicle and required for US import,1100 and 2200 euros for the extra parts and engine respectively if desired), please read the details. Shipping and duty, clearance, port pickup and 5 days storage in Baltimore is $2600 which will be added to the high bid for US export. We can arrange final delivery to any address in the US.
This 1988 Defender 110 County runs and drives, it has rust and dents so is a restoration project. It has 236582kms or 146700 miles on the clock. I have 1100 euros of parts that can be shipped with the car (rear crossmember, rear wing panel, front wing panel etc), it would be 1100 euros on top of the bid price if these parts are desired by the buyer (they are needed for the restoration so it makes sense to buy them and ship them inside the car).
My business partner and I have years of experience exporting from Italy and importing Defenders into the US so the buyer will get a smooth import process and all necessary documents to title in any US state (no claims about California due to CARB rules). My Baltimore agent will clear the car from Baltimore port, it will be picked up from the port and stored in a warehouse for further transport or collection. Other ports are available too but Baltimore and Houston are the easiest in my experience. Shipping cost to the US is $1650, customs clearance and duty etc is about $700, removal from port and storage for 5 days is about $250 from where it can be collected or shipped anywhere in the US at buyer's expense (most east and central states will be $1000 or less, west coast could be $1500 upto $2000). Buyer is welcome to collect from the Baltimore warehouse or find their own shipper to transport it from there as well.
Some of the videos and one picture show a 200tdi in the car with the engine running and driving, since this was originally a 19j vehicle it has been changed back to 19j and the 200tdi has been removed. So please understand that the 200tdi is currently NOT installed in it as it needed to be changed for US import regulations.
The 200tdi ran well when removed as the videos show and can be sold to the buyer for an additional 2200 euros, it can be shipped inside the car so the buyer will not have to pay for additional shipping. If not needed the car can simply be shipped with it's 19j engine installed. The VIN is salldhmb8ea320570
