Description
This is #60 of the handful of Defenders made fro US sale.Have owned for last 15 years. Except for a short period of time, has always been garaged. Drives well. AC blows cold!Since owning I have:- Had engine steam cleaned and gaskets replaced.- Replaced all shocks.- Replaced all speakers with new OEM and added Kenwood CD player in Tuffbox center console and subwoofer- Replaced front bumper- Added brush guards- After market stainless exhaust- Conducted normal service and tire rotations
Spots it needs help:- Bottom of doors have rust- Key marks on passenger door (can buff out but show as paint oxidizes)- Gas tank plate rusting / needs replacement- Small crack in windshield (3") from rock.- Interior surfaces and paint show normal age- Have original soft top in bag - missing some pieces
It has not been in an accident. Reported vandalism when someone punctured tires, broke antenna and keyed passenger door.
Previous owner replaced the original transmission with an R-380 which has been flawless and keeps Defender cruising at highway speeds.
Defender for sale as-is where-is. Can help arrange to load for transport, but transportation responsibility of seller.
