This is a great defender, lots of money has been spent to make this a very well looked after vehicle.
I purchased the Defender in England and brought it back with me earlier this year.
I have in hand a Land Rover heritage certificate certifying the Land Rover's authenticity, original chassis and body.
The Engine was changed back in 2007/8 to the same 11L spec 200 TDi engine. That engine was installed with ~48000 miles with the odometer reading over 100k at the time. So the actual engine installed has about 100,000 miles on it.
I have the full service history in hand. Most recent work done on it includes:
Just gave it a new paint job after installing all new doors (3 year warranty from Maaco). There are dents and dings that I elected not to get straightened out or fixed.
I am currently working on re-doing some of the electrical, to include a new ignition barrel.
Fully reformed steel wheels painted in the classic land rover cream white (FEB).
Full undercarriage Waxoyle rust protection treatment to include chassis wax injection (FEB).
Full service completed OCT 17 (transmission oil, gear oil, diesel treatment, engine flush, engine oil, oil and fuel filter etc...) oil changed again in JUN 18
Brand new wheels and BFG all terrain tyres (700 miles)
New battery (march 18)
New rear propshaft
Replaced the turbo
New fuel tank
New front swivel kit, CV joint, brakes pads.
Rear diff
Removed non-stock snorkel (small cut out in left Hood).
Weld on Rear right of chassis
New door seals all around.
New cubby box mounted.
Additional things that have been done over the last couple years:
NAS lights
Spot lights on front
Loading lights on back
Radio and CD player
Galvanised inner wings
Power steering
Front air vents open and close properly
Discovery front and rear axles
Jacked up on high springs with camber adjusted arms
Wide angle CV joints
Handbrake internals all new
