The Series II Land Rover saw a production run from 1958-1961. It came in the 88in and 109in. wheel base, otherwise known as the SWB and LWB models. They two wheel bases saw a variation of bodys. Utility, truck and carrier versions. The Series II in my opinion are the best of both worlds, they have the look of the Series I with the close headlights and the newer drivetrains like the 2.25 that came standard. This particular model comes... from a local consignor. It comes with a lot of service and repair receipts. It is extremely solid with patina that at some point received new rings, bearings, head and valve job. It has a updated suspension with newer brakes and tires. All lights work as they should including the license plate light. Guages and lights work as well as the choke. This Series II does not appear to be leaky or smoking, starts perfectly and goes down the road quite nicely for a nearly sixty year old utility vehicle. The consignor added the sliding front windows as well as the sliding rear window with no rattles. Also added galvanized rock guards and front bumper. With the sale will include a heated front windscreen still new in the box as well as some misc. parts. This truck needs absolutely nothing to be enjoyed or driven. These SWB trucks are pretty hard to find and especially hard to find with no corrosion in the frame. To see over 80 photos of this car, including undercarriage please visit our website br/-
