Car description |

This series III Land Rover is a very well sorted example clearly superior to most that we see.
VIN is LBAAH2AA127236 - Hagerty Insurance calls it a grey market import which is apparently why ebay doesn't like the VIN.
The truck spent most of it's life in Switzerland, where in 2007 a comprehensive rebuild was completed for a new owner. This included complete mechanical rebuild of all components, full sorting and repaint of all steel inner body panels, underside, and frame, upgrade to larger 110 type brakes, locking Warn hubs in front. The initial cost of restoration was over 26000 Swiss Francs, with follow up work thru 2013 export costing thousands more, and a fresh respray was done in 2013 prior to USA import. Mileage at time of import was 81678km or 50752 miles. Mileage today is 128319km or 79734 miles. Full invoices from rebuilds and photos of the work are in the file.
Todays owner has put on about 25k miles since purchase 2014. Fastidious service and maintenance practiced throughout. The Weber carburetor upgrade was done, also wheel bearing & seals, and regular fluid changes etc. This truck doesn't burn or leak oil, starts easily hot or cold and runs reliably. The bikini top was added and original full enclosure still in as new condition retained. Seat cushions front and back are clean, dry, undamaged.
Lots of spares and accessories included:4 extra military road wheels with all terrain tires recent and excellentowners manual Englishowners manual Germanshop manual Haynestow bar front to tow this vehicle2'' tow hitch with bumpstep and original tow hookhand crank starter, original tools, jack, various spares etc.water can on bracket3 sets of keys
We are going to list this only once. If not sold it's going to deep storage for at least a year.
