1994 LAND ROVER DEFENDER 90 NAS #1750 HARDTOP This Defender 90 was converted to the 2. 8L Navistar turbo diesel in April of 2003 by Jim Pennington. At that time many other upgrades were made. It performs extremely well on and off road. and always returns in the mid 20 mpg range. This vehicle is equipped with many upgrades to make highway miles much more comfortable and enjoyable and has a current West Virginia vehicle safety inspection sticker. The smooth Navistar diesel engine provides great fuel economy while noise is kept to a minimum with soundproofing insulation under the hood and on the cab top and floors. The new slave cylinder makes shifting a breeze while the new Bilstein reservoir shocks and 315-75x16 Goodyear wrangler tires mounted on Land Rover Defender factory rims handle the ride. The rear auxiliary heater and floor and cargo mats keep you warm in the cooler climates while the removable hardtop. tonneau and cockpit covers and brand new Defender doors with crank windows (that have never been installed) help when the heat is on. I am not claiming that this vehicle has no flaws (please see pictures). but it is a great dependable vehicle. There is some rust starting on the doors that are currently on the vehicle but I have a brand new set of doors with roll up windows from Roves North that go with the vehicle. The interior has a few minor flaws including a few smaller tears in the center console around the equipped CD player. The paint is in good shape and the seats do not have any tears.
