Up for auction is my beloved 1993 Classic. This is a Range Rover Sport Edition. it is one of only 200 that were made worldwide. They were an additional $1900 more than the regular County version. The Sport edition were the only Range Rovers in 1993 to come with air suspension. factory Front brush bar with hella 3000 lights. and special TWR silver aluminum wheels. Most of this limited edition were Beluga black. Even fewer were Aegean blue. Like this one. I purchased the Rover from its original owner that I have known my entire life. I grew up living down the street and always wanted it. The previous owner was fully diagnosed OCD and the Rover reflects this. He took great care of it and kept all records. nbsp;which I have in a very large file. The Rover runs and drives great. no weird noises. rattles. etc. There are no warning lights lit on the dash. the ABS brakes work great with no shimmy or vibration. the engine runs strong. the automatic transmission operates smoothly. and the power steering doesn't vibrate or pull to one side. The Power windows. sunroof. seats. mirrors. and locks all work great. The Transfer case was updated to the center differential locking (CDL) last December. The air suspension was converted to Springs last year (everything will be included if you wish to convert it back to pneumatic suspension). The heating and air-conditioning systems both work great. Now for the "character"- The paint is original everywhere except the roof and the drivers rear quarter. which were both professionally repainted and wet sanded to match (previous owner scraped the rear quarter on his other car and the roof was loosing its clear coat). The sides of the car look good. but the hood is loosing it's clear coat. There is extremely little or no rust in the common areas (rear door jam above wheel-none. rear hatch frame-one very small surface spot on drivers interior side. rear tail light inboard sides-one very small surface spot on drivers side. The frame and underside are in great shape with the exception of one spot. where the passenger side front mudflap bolts to the bottom of the car is rusty. I don't know why there is rust localized to this one spot. but again. the rest of the underside is in excellent shape. The interior is in good shape as well. the leather seats have some wear but no rips or tears. the wood has the typical cracks and a few spots where it has chipped. and the headliner is sagging in the back. I have the original key and lots of copies. The brush bar is original Land Rover and comes with Hella 3000's. The tires are the Michelin Synchrone 4X4 that were OEM and they have a good bit of life left. The rover is a great daily driver which I have enjoyed and only consider selling because I found a 2003 I couldn't pass up. I would encourage anyone interested in the rover to come check it out in person. however if your location does not make this feasible. feel free to call me and I will walk around the car and go over everything in detail with you over the phone. If you are unable to come pick up the vehicle in person. I would be happy to drop it off at any local shipping depot. free of charge. Please ask any questions before bidding. Being as this is a 22-year-old vehicle. it is being sold as is. that being said. I have tried to represent the Rover as best I can. I am relisting this rover due to a high better not following through with the purchase. Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy.
