1992 Land Rover Defender 110 Double Cab VERY RARE

This 1992 Defender Double Cab right hand drive has undergone extensive work both aesthetically and mechanically/structurally. This badass Defender was imported from the UK and it abides by all customs regulations and has the original matching VIN numbers.It is already registered and titled in the United States in the state of Kansas in Johnson County. VIN of the car is; SALLDHMF7JA915933. Ebay doesn't accept European VIN, that's why the VIN isn't entered correctly above. Correct VIN of the car is the one here which matches the VIN on the engine and chassis per customs requirements.

If you know Defenders, you know that this Double Cab Defender is VERY rare. There are lots of 110's and 90's on the market but you do not see Defender Double Cab's very often. This is the crown jewel of Defenders!

During the extensive restoration, the vehicle was taken down for chassis repair and paint/body work and then built back up. Please see photos of the process. Numerous additional photos are available for interested and serious buyers. Contact information at the end of description.

Chassis and Structure Repair

Chassis was thoroughly inspected and we found that the two main rails were in great shape so they were left as is but 3 of the outriggers needed repair so all four were replaced. The body cross member under the 2nd row seats has been replaced along with both sill rails and the C posts under the doors. Both front foot wells have been replaced with new and the bulkhead was repaired. The rear cross member was completely removed and a new one welding in to replace. We ensured the chassis VIN was preserved during this process. A full shultz underseal completed the process to ensure long term protection.
The process is more time consuming and more expensive than using a replacement chassis but it retains the original chassis VIN and the result is a very structurally strong reliable chassis.

Body

Body was professionally painted in a beautiful Frozen White color that looks amazing with the silver accents. Please see photos for the painting process. Additional photos available. Major dents and body imperfections were repaired before painting to ensure a smooth body finish that makes the truck look almost new! New XS grill in a beautiful silver color looks stunning with the Frozen White paint. We have had this truck for a couple months now and it is definitely a head turner. It gets a lot of attention everywhere we take it and always has lots of people asking to take photos of it!

Wheels, Tires and Breaks

New Rims and Tires. Rims are 16x7 Black Boost Five Spoke Alloy. Tires are Kumho Road Venture MT51 which is an off-road 4WD Tire capable of handling the harshest conditions while still just as comfortable on the road as off. New brake disc and pads installed.
