The Extensive (12,000 USD) Rebuild includes the following

• Freshly Rebuilt 200 TDI Engine with new Piston Rings, Bearings seals and Gaskets
• New Cam Belt and Glow Plugs
• New Clutch assembly and slave cylinder
• Reconditioned Fuel Injection Pump
• New Nearside Outrigger, Side Channels and Footwells (Both Sides)
• New Fuel Gauge sender
• New Brake Master Cylinder
• New Front Hubs, Calipers, Discs, Pads and Brake lines
• New Rear Hubs, Wheel Cylinders, Shoes and Drums
• New Front Suspension Turrets, Mounting Rings and Shock Absorbers

As expected the engine runs and drives completely smoothly and starts with zero hesitancy. The Steering is positive and the brakes firm as expected. We have noted no mechanical issues with the vehicle and it will should serve many more years without need for any major repairs

Both the frame and bulkhead are in excellent condition with minimal surface rust on both. The A pillars and Scuttle Ends show minimal signs of rusting. The paint is fresh within the last years and although not an original Defender color it works well with the white roof and wheels

The Doors are showing basically zero electrolytic reaction which is very unusual for a 28 year old Rover
