Up for sale is my 1986 Land Rover Defender 110. Ebay doesn't recognize VINs on these, VIN is SALLDHAD7AA270409. I work for a dealer and we buy and sell a lot of vehicles including Defenders but this is my personal one. Only reason for selling is I have another one incoming, I swap up ever so often.
Here is what I know about it. I purchased it from the original owner who imported it to the US. I have all import paperwork and title, etc. Everything was done correctly. Once it was here it had 2 restorations done to it. The first was a full frame off restoration in which vehicle was fully taken apart and rebuilt on a new galvanized chassis. From best I can tell they pretty much built a new Rover. After that the owner decided he wanted more power and an automatic so he sent and had a new LS crate motor dropped in and an automatic transmission.
1986 Defender 110- Full frame off restoration on new Galvanized chassis. It appears basically everything was replaced.- New Puma doors, hood, and rear door. They all open and close perfectly, easily, and quietly which isn't easy to accomplish on these- New Gen IV Crate LS Motor. High output, aluminum block. Auto GM tranny. Truck runs and drives great. Recent tune and tranny was dropped and checked, everything is 100% good to go. New full exhaust.- Upgraded suspension, brakes, stabilizers etc so it handles and drives correctly.- Wheels and tires are still in new condition and in great shape.- New NAS style exterior and interior roll cage, rack and ladder- Light bar- Interior is soundproofed with new carpet and headliner- New Exmoor seating for 9, rear seats fold up when not in use.- Air conditioning and heater- Front vents still work- Stereo with aux input- Power windows- New digital gauges on dash
The Defender is in great shape and condition inside and out. I do drive it daily so its not a garage queen but its very nice. Really only picks I know of is getting in out of it wearing on the edge of carpet etc and a few chips in the paint just from driving but it would be easy touch up. It cranks right up every time, drives great, and everything works. The LS and auto is a great setup it really makes it a drivable truck, on or off road or highway, whatever. 70-80mph is easy and smooth no issues. Now sound insulation so still can carry on conversations inside etc. I've had a lot of these and this one is by far the best one I've had and someone spent a lot of money on it. Pretty much everything is new but it still kept an original feel which I like with modern comforts. He said he had well over $200k invested, he spent the money intending to keep it not flip it. I also intended to keep it but was offered another truck I like slightly better so going that route. I plan on running one week on Ebay then it will sell at dealer auction next weekend. Wanted public to have a shot before dealer mark up.
I do work for a dealer and it will be processed through my dealer at no additional markup it is my personal ride. Im sure Im forgetting plenty any questions email WholesaleChad@gmail.com. I searched a couple years for this truck there is not many like this anywhere.
