Land Rover 127/ 130 Rapier V8 LHD . Originally used in the British military to carry Rapier missiles and tow the launcher . I have since fitted new exmoor trim seats front and rear and had a new canvas top made in black . I've owned the car for 2 years now and its titled in Colorado .Chassis is very solid / no rot . Doors are in good shape with surface rust at the bottoms . The car is incredibly solid and since owning it it has always been garaged . The engine is the Rover V8 on carb, runs very well and has been recently serviced and had new distributer fitted .Its runs 2 fuel tanks ( new fuel tank installed before importing ). New exhaus, new suspension parts .Gearbox is the LT85 5 spee, box works well through all the gears but crunches from 3rd -2nd if double clutch is not used (I have been told a weak synchromesh ).Its a fun car thats capable of carrying upwards of 14 people . Bodywork is all aluminu, there is the odd small dent here and there and it carries its original military paint .Would make a great beach car with larger tires fitted and a respra, or convert it to a 130 double cab pickup .
