This Defender was imported into the US earlier in the year, it has a clean Virginia title and inspection sticker.

The 2.5 TD engine fires up instantly from cold and runs beautifully, the (LT77) 5 speed manual transmission shifts well without any crutching and everything feels tight.

It drives brilliantly, It has clearly been serviced and looked after well in the UK, The engine doesn't smoke and it pulls well when driving.

I noticed the radiator is not great, I will be ordering a new one for the truck before selling

The chassis is in extremely good condition, there has been a few repairs to the chassis at some point, but apart from some surface rust its solid and there are no visible holes.

The body is straight, Originally it was a truck cab model, The original paintwork is well above averag, when the Station wagon body was added, it was hand painted and although its Ok, there are visible brush strokes. There is a small corrosion hole in the rear of the body ( show in the photos)

The door bottoms are good, as is the bulkhead and footwells, the rear door is new and completely rust free.

The interior original and in good condition, however the drivers seat back has a rip in it and really needs re- covering, the kits are available from Britpart. The dashboard is excellent.

This will make an excellent daily driver or perfect base for a full restoration, its a very original truck and relatively rust free
