Car description

1985 Range Rover Classic Vogue finished in Arctic White with Silver Grey Velour interior.
We imported this beautiful truck from Spain; the VIN is SALLHAMV8BA156819. It has a clean Texas title in our name.
It has a 3.5L carburetedV8 engine with 181,000kms on it. This is a one owner car. It comes with the original owner's manual and service booklet.
The 1985 Range Rover is a very special year as it is dubbed the "long stick 5-speed" which pertains to its - new for that year - 5 speed manual LT-77 transmission mated to an LT230 transfer case. These are extremely robust drivetrain options and went on to be used for many years in different applications.
Vogue was the top of the line, luxury package for Range Rovers in 1985 and featured three stripes and a Range Rover logo on the side; this was an option only on the 1985 Vogue trim level.
Don't be fooled into thinking this is anything like the brittle, plasticky, finicky, American spec Range Rovers because this is a car of a different era. One touch of the interior velour, plastic andAmerican Walnutand you can immediately tell this is a whole different vehicle.
The 1985 model year is the best combination of features and robust interior from the Classic 1970's Range Rovers mixed with enough modern amenitiesfrom the more 1986-1989 model years to be able to be driven and enjoyed every day.
It features factory A/C, power windows, power mirrors, driving lights, fog lights, a heated rear window, rear wiper, headlamp washers, an electronic ignition and an air horn.
This vehicle was never offered to the United States market and is extremely rare anywhere in the world in this trim level and with this level of previous care.
This truck is a great driver - we have been daily driving and testing it for the last month without issue. It starts easily, drives straight, stops well, and all the electrics work, including windows and mirrors. We have not done any work to the truck since we imported it, but have done our Dutch Safari Daily Driver inspection to find exactly what it needs to be 100% sorted.
This includes:-Suspension bushings-A/C work-Tires-Engine reseal and tuneup-Radiator-Brakes-Assorted small items e.g. gaskets and hoses
We are happy to do the work at our shop if you would like and we highly recommend it if you're planning to use it as a daily driver, which it comfortably can be and should be.We specialize in classic European Range Rovers and have the parts network and knowledge to properly sort out this rare 4x4.
We are auctioning off this truck at no reserve, so please, serious bidders only.Located in Austin, TX. We can help arrange shipping if necessary.
