Car description

For Sale is my 1986 Land Rover Defender 110

Left-Hand Drive

3.5L V8 w/117k miles (188km)

5 Speed Manual LT85 Transmission 4 x 4

Coniston Green

Clean NJ Title in Hand

VIN # SALLDHMV8BA246921 (International VIN's not accepted by eBay)

I bought it from an Importer in October of 2016 who imported it from The Netherlands. He replaced the transmission, installed a new clutch and cover and put on new Wolf wheels and BFG All-Terrain Tires 235/85 R16. It also passed Michigan inspection at time of sale.

A previous owner repainted the vehicle, replaced the floor boards, rear cross-member and coated the entire undercarriage in rust-preventative.

All door locks and roll-up windows work as they should and I have both ignition and door keys. The headliner is in good shape and the interior is decent for its age. Radio works and there is a speaker box under the rear seat. The factory brush bar and factory side steps are also included.

The entire truck is stock other than the items mentioned that were replaced. Below is everything I’ve done to it since purchasing:

- Tune up (replaced plugs, wires, distributor, cap & rotor; replaced oil in engine, transmission, transfer box and differentials; replaced air, oil & fuel filters; cleaned dual carbs)

- New Battery and Front Grill

- Repaired upper bulkhead corners and repainted

- Repainted front bumper, rear cross-member, side steps, door hinges, side mirrors/arms, head light surrounds

The only issues are a small dent on rear passenger-side fender, rust on door bottoms (common), oxidation on some doors/body panels and some rust on the hood frame.

Other than that, this is a solid 31-year old vehicle that starts up every time and runs and drives as it should. I have some spares and leftover touch-up paint in Coniston green that I’ll include as well.

Asking $30k obo.
