1991 Land Rover Defender 90 Soft top 200 TDI 50Kmiles

I’m selling a 1991 Land Rover Defender 90 with a 200 TDI. The car has been legally imported from France (LHD, the steering wheel is on the correct side of the car). The car is in California right now (orange county)

The car has only 85 000 Km (52800 Miles) it was only used to tow a small boat from Paris area to Nice (south of France) area every summer for the last 26 years. Never been used off road and stored in a garage the rest of the year. The frame is in excellent shape the body as well. Seat, dash and all interior is really good condition. Engine run strong and has no leak.

What’s wrong with the car: It is still a 26-year-old British car, so there is thing that need to be fix:

The power steering system has been changed recently but there is still a small leak. Clutch master cylinder leaks a little bit (I have the spare part) it’s a 1 or 2 hrs easy job, Small rust at the bottom of the door (26-year-old).

Other than this everything works the way it is supposed to work.

Recently change on the car:

- Canvas (soft top)

- Battery

- Suspension (spring and Shocks)

- Timing belt

- All belt (accessory, power steering, ..)

- Power steering box

I imported this car when I moved to the US. it is too complicated to register in California so I’m selling it. It can be register in any other state (25-year-old exemption). All doc available for registration in USA (custom clearance, EPA and DOT exemption)

I believed it is the one of the best original defender you can find in the US now. This defender has been well maintain and carefully used. No restoration has been performed on this car and it doesn’t need any so far.
