**********New radiator and full 2015 Defender 110 Suspension just fitted - now stands like a new Defender!*******
The 3.5 gasoline v8 was replaced with a brand new old stock v8 engine only 25k miles ago; it sounds fantastic and goes just as well. The vehicle has a strong 5 speed gearbox, additional driving lights and a tachometer.
All the usual prone rust spots are in sound order. The bulkhead is excellent having had the top corners professionally repaired to as new standard with new steel. The footwells have had repairs and are solid. There is nothing required of this vehicle prior to playing on or off road.
The doors are all in good order, there is evidence of the usaul bi-metallic corrosion but the door frames are all sound.
The chassis is good, it has been preserved with a light coat of cleaar waxoyl, not the usual thick black stonechip to hide issues. The only two repairs identified are a plate to an outrigger and a new rear cross member.
The interior is neat and tidy, there is evidence of wear commensurate with age but it is a complete 11 seater county tweed interior
Fitted with brand new heavy duty wolf style wheels with excellent all terrain tyres, an excellent ARB Style winch bumper and genuine Landrover 2015 shock absorbers and springs to ensure this vehicle looks and handles as it should.
1) This vehicle will be registered in CT. CT does not title vehicles over 25 years of age, You will receive a CT Registration Certificate with a "Q1 Form (supplemental assignment of ownership). This document is all you need to register and title the vehicle in any state.
2) This is a 31 year old Land Rover. It is not perfect but it has been serviced and is in fine working order to the best of my knowledge. By buying this you agree that you "get it". I am not a car dealer, this is a hobby. I do my best to ensure that there are no issues, but these are Land Rovers.
