Car description |
---|
1988 Land Rover 110, right-hand drive imported from UK. eBay does not recognize the VIN which is: SALLDHAB7EA329975.Metallic black finish with contrasting silver roof, hood and wheel arches, 145,000 miles, 2.5L 4-cylinder 19J turbo-diesel engine, 5-speed LT77 manual transmission, permanent 4-wheel drive, Hi/Low ratio gears with diff-locks, power steering, twin fuel tanks for long range driving, original Land Rover alloy wheels with 5 x new Cooper Discoverer All-Terrain tires (including matching brand new spare alloy wheel and tire), complete new brake system (see work carried out below.)
Vehicle runs and drives good as the result of a lot of work and new parts fitted over the past 12 months, including the following.....
1. Repaint in metallic black with contrasting silver roof, hood and wheel arch extensions. Not a perfect paint job but very presentable
2. New rubber door seals
3. New rubber window seals
4. New front windshield (but hasdeveloped a crack)
5. New rear lights
6. New front grill
7. New Land Rover Defender decals
8. New steering damper
9. New steering joints
10. New rear shocks
11. New front brake rotors
12. New front brake calipers and pads
13. New brake master cylinder
14. New power brake booster
15. New brake lines
16. New rear brake cylinders
17. New rear brake shoes and drums
18. New rear frame cross-member
19. New rear A-frame joint
20. New Tires (Cooper Discoverer A/T)
21. New 30mm wheel spacers
22. New lug nuts for alloy wheels
23. New seat cushions and covers in original Land Rover Techno trim
24. New driver door hinges
25. New interior soundproofing kit (front cab)
26. New fitted rubber floor mats
The rear load area is a blank canvas and could be improved in many different ways. I was thinking a simple spray-in truck bed liner to tidy it up or you could add seats, windows or maybe even kit it out as the ultimate off-road camper!
I will throw in a spare set of Land Rover Wolf steel wheels, ideal if you want to take it off road and not risk damaging the alloys. You can see a pic of these in the back of the vehicle. These will neednew tires as they are dry rotted.
Vehicle is Titled and Registered in Texas in my name.
