Description
1968 Land Rover 88 SII Very solid/dry driver. Earlier frame off restoration w/all sheet metal restored/reconditioned and repainted the stock colors. Redone/new electrical harness and updated alternator w/internal regulator.Excellent driver fitted w/new later style (2012) Global Roamer O/Drive for highway speeds. All there, all works; gauges, heater, window slides, locks, etc. Tires very good, brakes renewed along w/fuel system/tank, carburetor, battery, and head gasket due to lengthy storage. Transfer box, differential, an all fluids changed out.
Been happily driving it since spring 2012 in the 3 seasons; no salt, no rot. Lotta fun, but lost storage. Sorry...NO radio, NO cup holders!
