1973 LAND ROVER DEFENDER / Series 3 *FRAME OFF RESTO* MINT

1973 Land Rover Series 3 / Defender. This Land Rover is in outstanding condition. Runs, rives excellent. Full frame off restoration.In fact, his Rover has a brand new galvanized frame from Rovers North. Then it was epoxy coated in black. The body was completely disassembled, lasted, oated and painted. No rust anywhere, nd it will never rust.. the body is aluminum. Motor, rans, nd drive train / Fairey overdrive, re completely rebuilt. Select upgrades to monitor the engine vitals and for a better ride. Custom stainless grill instead of the plastic original. Looks like the older models, ld school. Options: Heat, ipers, verdrive...thats it. Rover rides on parabolic springs + adjustable QA-1 Coilovers for tight street driving. These could be easily swapped for Old Man Emu shocks for off roading or a softer ride. Custom stainless battery tray for dual batteries, sed to power the Superwinch. New galvanized bumper, ock sliders, ights, ages, arabolic springs, hocks, rakes, rab bars, tainless steel Borla exhaust system, tc. New interior, omplete with new Autometer gauges. All parts were replaced or restored. All new stainless or grade 8 used throughout. The bottom of this truck is as clean as the top. Has rear jump seats (not new) w/ Britpart belts for the kids. Rover has sound deadening thick black mat in the rear tub. Wheels are 16" Rover North rims to accommodate larger tires (235 x 85 x 16). Six rims and tires. Hi-Lift jack mounted in rear tub. Ropes and grab handles throughout for managing the ride. Rope on the front tire serves as a safety catch as well. All ropes, ccessories could be easily removed. Truck has a few battle scars, hich are almost mandatory for a LR.Run with the top on in the cold, r the top comes off easily with just a few hand tools for the summer ! Top can be taken off by one person if done carefully. Overall this is an awesome truck. It will roll down the road at 55 no problem. Go for a ride through the farm fields, n the beach, t the shore, arades, ocal cruising, ar shows, romotional vehicle, r display in a Land Rover showroom. I have the original parts (gauges, teering wheel, rill, tc) and full documentation of all upgrades. Front seat third cushions available.. currently replaced with removable console/cup/phone holder. Portable Sony wireless speaker for the dash, onnects to your phone via blue tooth. Battery tender line permanently installed, ith connector through grill makes for easy, uick hook up between drives.
