Car description |
---|
Very rare 109 One-tone that was completely restored in the UK approximately 12 years ago, as MOT inspected, ndimported when I moved back to the US.Has beendriven about 2000 milesin the last ten years. Engine was replaced with a MOD reman., nd transmission was replaced with a Series III which has more road worthy ratios. Original one-ton transmission goes with the vehicle. Everything else original, ncluding ENV axles, rame with adjustable shackles, rossmember with relief, nd one-ton springs.
Paint was taken down to the aluminum, nd it was repainted in it's original Royal Coast Guard blue. The interior has been treated to a heavy duty sound proof mat and seatbox cover, nd it drives very quiet and comfortably for a Land Rover. Everything works, nd it may be the only one in the US. Approximately 300 one-tons were manufactured over a 4 or 5 year period, nd this is the only year they were produced with the headlights in the correct Land Rover location.
