World Renowned Off-Road Awesomeness in Rover Diesel
Hello, I am selling my awesome 1993 Land Rover Range Rover Classic. Spend a few minutes on Google or Youtube, ou will find out what I'm talking about. These trucks will go literally anywhere. The drivetrain, xles, uspension, rakes, nd frame are all identical to what Land Rover used in the Defender. Motor: Rover 2.5L Direct injected 4-cylinder Turbo Diesel Tdi (26-28 MPG)Trans: ZF 4HP24 4-Spd Automatic (geared for diesel) Xfer Case: Land Rover LT-230 1.2:1 Ratio (Full time 4WD) Suspension: HD Coils with Bilstein Shocks Sway Bars: Front & Rear Wheels: LR Alloy Rims w/ Cooper Discoverer AT3 245/75 16 New: Tires, attery, xhaust, ires, ater pump, iming belt, ear main seal, erpentine belt, loor mats. Condition: Mechanically, his truck is in great shape. The frame is rust free (extremely rare) and everything has been serviced and maintained by people who love rovers. The odometer says 220K on it but almost everything has been replaced in the drivetrain. The motor has about 90K in it. The interior isn't bad. It has the original leather seats and wood accented pieces. The drivers seat certainly shows wear but could be re-covered I suppose. The exterior is a work in progress. I've been collecting straight body panels from several trucks and putting the straightest ones on this one. The result is straight, ust-free lines with a couple colors of faded paint. If you are looking for a soccer-mom Range Rover to look good at the mall, his is not the one. If you are looking for a man's offroad machine that will get you through the zombie apocalypse in style, ive me a call. Clean FL title and a bunch of extra parts. I have: extra tail lights and various electrical components, xtra straight body panels...I'll dig around and see what else...A couple things that are less awesome: Everyone asks if this truck has a lot of electrical issues. It does not but it wouldn't be an RRC without a few quirks. All the electrical windows work great but the rear ones do so at a time and place of their choosing. There was a known defective solder joint on the window controller that caused them to beintermitent. I know exactly where it is but have never bothered to goresolderit. Both front seats are full power seats but the driver's has lost power sometime in the last year. Again, t was set for my sitting position and I haven'tbotheredto chase down the cause. The LCD display for the original Rover radio is very faded from the heat. Likewise, he first generation LCD based auto dimming rear view mirror doesn't dim anymore. To the best of myknowledge, verything else electrical works as it should...lights, ipers, asher, orn, ignals, tarter, harging system, lock, adio....all good. The only other less awesome thing I can think of is that there is a crack in the windshield. I was going to wait until I painted it to change it but obviously that has didn't happen. It is just a single hair line and I don't even see it anymore but don't want anyone to be surprised. You can see it in the picture looking in the passengers door. The angle makes it stand out. Other than the odd drop of oil, hat's about it. What can I say, t's an old rover. All the awesomeness comes with a little character. You either love that character or you don't I suppose.
