1989 All Original/Stock Chevrolet Suburban - CA Vehicle in Amazing Condition!

1989 stock. all original. unmolested CA Suburban for sale. located in Huntington Beach. The square-body Suburban’s have been rising in popularity due to their rugged good looks. practicality and affordability. yet finding a clean example that has not lived a hard life is getting harder and harder. Do a simple search of ’73-’91 Burban’s and you’ll see the selection is extremely minimal. While the 8th generation body style is the longest without a major body change (1973-1991). I prefer the ’89-’91 for their quad side-by-side front headlights AND the combo of modern fuel injection. This particular ’89 is clean. straight and an all-around great driving Burban. The 1500 2WD means it sits a little lower. which helps for ease of entry & exit (especially for my wife & kids). It also provides a much softer ride which is what we were looking for as this Burban was purchased as another beach cruiser for the kids. It’s equipped with the reliable and better performing / gas consuming fuel injected small block 350. Highlights Include: - Rust free body/frame - New paint on dent-free body - Rebuilt transmission - Recent engine tune (new distributor & fuel injectors) & fluid flush - Fully recharged A/C system (front & rear) - New BFG tires - ALL mechanicals work (power windows/locks (including rear drop window). cruise control. lights. horn. blinkers. wipers & wash. ect) - Passed CA smog in 2014 without issues - Near perfect interior including original dash without cracks The interior is all stock. typical ‘80’s soft tan corduroy…and note the front bench seat! While buckets were obviously the upgrade interior package for the day. it’s next to impossible to find a front bench anymore. The bench is what sold me on this vehicle as it can comfortably hold children in-between adults (or the family dog if you desire). 2nd & 3rd row seats are all in perfect order with the 3rd row easily folded or removed completely if extra room is needed (I hauled a 70” TV in its huge original packaging without problem…see photo). Mechanically everything works as it should with a complete transmission rebuild occurring in 2014 (less than 3. 00 miles on it). Engine is built-proof. lights off. and idles perfectly. Recent tune-up included a new distributor. fuel injectors and fluid flushes. The vehicle was resprayed its original factory black less than a year ago too. Original paint of this era Suburban did not hold up on ANY examples as Chevrolet was experimenting with combining primer to their paint in hopes of eliminating a spray step…the result was a complete failure and paint would fade and peel in less than 10 years of use. I purchased this vehicle to be my family beach cruiser. but seeing as I currently own three Suburban’s (a new one for the wife & a much older vintage one). the wife is demanding we cut down our inventory. Since I can’t part with my vintage Burban (too many memories) and the new one must stay for the wife’s use. I just can’t convince her to let me hold onto this ’89.
