Barn Find. 1977 Lancia Scorpion. The good news; runs and drives. Shifts into all gears smoothly. Rust free under-carrier and floors. No proliferated rust anywhere on the body. All floor boards are solid. Left and right rocker panels are solid. no rust around the windshield frame. No rust on the back lid. This Scorpion spent most of it's life in Montana and show no signs of collision damage. Has most of it's parts for a complete restoration. Car was shipped to Georgia and has a clear Georgia Title. The not so good; Needs paint. As the picture shows, left rear quarter panel has peeling paint. I have no idea when or why it happened. The body is totally solid under the surface rust and there is no evidence of past collision damage to the area. The back glass panel is missing. The front windshield is cracked. It needs a new rag top and straps. All other top panel parts are there. Seat upholstery is worn and drive seat insert panel seam is torn. Extra Steering column comes with the car to replace the one installed which had a broken ignition switch. It's a barn find and therefore needs attention. I have too many projects, so this has to go. My preference would have been to turn it into an 037 look a like. Great candidate for a super cool track car.deserves a chance at being a survivor. Hope someone out there feels the same and takes it on for a really neat project. Sold as is where is, no warranty. Buyer is responsible for transportation.sold as is, where is, no warranty. This is a no reserve bid. Thanks for taking a look!
