1976 Lancia Scorpion

This Lancia is a great drivers car. The engine is in the correct spot and the chassis is outstanding. We would love to keep this one but we have over 10 Scorpions. This is a drive anywhere Lancia. No overheating, tighter handling, increased braking, and improved acceleration. Below is a list of things we did to maintain and upgrade this lovely Lancia. Video links at the bottom. Engine:

• Original block displacement 1800cc. Low mileage since rebuilt.

• Original Scorpion Cylinder Head 134 prefix.

• Recent valve adjustment.

• New Camshaft Seals.

• New Water pump and belt.

• New Timing Belt and belt Bearing Tensioner.

• New Thermostat.

• Recently cleaned radiator.

• Stock intake and exhaust camshafts.

• Uses regular 87 octane fuel.

Fuel and Induction:

• Larger Weber DGV series 32 primary and 36 secondary carburetor.

• Rejetted

• Special aluminum air filter plenum.

• Fuel tank serviced for cleaning.

• New fuel hoses and filters.

• New accelerator cable.

• Stock muffler with Catalytic converter.

Brakes:

• New Front and Rear Brake hoses.

• New rebuilt Front and Rear Calipers with the original larger 38 mm rear pistons.

• New Brake master cylinder.

• New Front and Rear Brake Pads.

Suspension:

• Lowered front and rear Coil springs. Greatly improved handling.

• KYB Gas struts.

• Wheels made by ROTA. 15 inch diameter and 4 X 100mm bolt pattern. Adaptor is used.

• Tires are larger 195-50-15 front and 205-50-15 rear.

DriveTrain/Shifting:

• All New 6 shifter and Cross member vertical rod bushings.

• All shifter balls of rods and levers spot welded to eliminate play.

• Replaced CV joint rubber boot.

• Heat shield between boot and exhaust header installed.

• Speedometer working.

• Changed Gear Oil.

Clutch System:

• New Pressure Plate.

• New Clutch Disc.

• New Clutch pressure plate release Bearing.

• New Input Shaft Oil Seal.

• New Clutch Slave Cylinder.

• New Clutch Master Cylinder.

Cooling/Heating:

• All rubber heater and radiator hoses replaced.

• Heater works well. Hoses on heater core replaced as well.

• New thermostat.

• Modified Stainless steel water reservoir.

• Original Air duct from front to under body tunnel.

• Replaced cooling Pipes with Copper.

• Installed manual by-pass toggle switch for radiator thermo switch.

Electricals/Ignition:

• Headlights converted to 4 bulb dual headlight design with Lancia components.

• Cleaned all grounding points.

• Replaced spark plug Cables with larger 8mm.

• New Spark Plugs.

• Rebuilt Starter.

Exterior:

• Paint is good. 15 years old.

• No visible rust.

• Windshield and all other glass in perfect condition.

• Canvas roof.

• Near Perfect Rear and Front lower Valances with perfect front Tunnel and Grill.

• Near Perfect Taillight and Grill/louvers.

Interior:

• New vinyl Seat Cushions.

• Carpet is original. Very clean

• New door rubber Seals.

• New windshield wipers.

• New door panel to glass seals.

• Reconditioned window regulators.
