Exterior
Our Countach received a bare metal repaint costing more than $30,000. The wheels were refinished, new Pirelli P Zeros installed, and even the hinges, latches and related hardware were replated. All new body seals were installed, as well as new Carello headlamps.

Interior
The instruments were professionally rebuilt (Palo Alto Speedometer), the steering wheel was replaced, the mouse fur dash, door panels and headliner were replaced and the seats were sent to Italy where they were trimmed in the correct, perforated hides. The interior work alone totaled more than $30,000.

Mechanical
The mechanical work was done primarily by Rico/Valtellina Automobili. The cylinder heads were rebuilt, as were the carburetors, radiators, water pump, alternator, cooling fan motors, new distributor and plug wires, rebuilt brakes with new rotors and rebuilt calipers, replaced clutch hydraulics, rebuilt clutch and flywheel, rebuilt suspension all round, new fuel pumps, rebuilt transmission, rebuilt heater cores and a completely rebuilt AC system.
This matching numbers Countach 5000 S is in superb condition inside and out. The body is straight, accident free and the paint is excellent. The interior is absolutely beautiful and virtually like new. This really is an outstanding opportunity to acquire a largely restored, extremely desirable, carbureted Countach.
