1961 CJ5 Willeys Jeep

I am the second owner and I purchased it from a family fried in 1971. The body is in very good shape with a small ding in right front fender and minor rust on passenger side. It has some minor body work in the 70's and a new soft top around 1974. I also did some engine work back in the 70's including new clutch. new rings and had the values ground. We added the airplane altimeter to the dash. The wiper are original with manual on passenger side and vacuum on driver side. It has two gas tank holders in the back and the original side steps have never been used. I have the owners manuals but they are grimy from sitting on a shelf. It has a power take off winch that was installed by first owner. It has always been keep in a garage by first owner and by myself. It does have a tow bar but since it has been sitting so long not sure how safe it would be to tow it plus the tires are aged. Seat bottoms were recover using a tanned moose hide. I do have my maintenance log from July 1982 to August 1985. The miles went from 46652 to 51393 during this time. I only drove it sporadically after 1985 to keep it running. I was going to get it running again but not sure where to start now and l am losing my storage garage in near future. It was last licensed in 1990 and that is probably the last year I started it.
