Car description

1977 JEEP HONCHO LEVI EDITIONThis is a rare surviving jeep honcho with the levi option. The levi option primarily consists of denim on the inside of the door panels. and the levi stickers on the outside. The truck was sold new in Kalispell Montana. The original owners manual and warranty card are included. This honcho is very original. and has a/c. The honcho's are hard to find. especially one that is in solid original condition. The paint is original and has no filler. It runs excellent and drives nice also. Here are all the details. More pics available. FEEL FREE TO MAKE AN OFFER. I CAN SELL ANYTIME. AND CAN TALK VIA PHONE IF YOU PREFER. THANKSMECHANICALThis truck has what appears to be the original 360 V8. It all looks original and stock. I have not checked the numbers on the engine but judging from what I see. it's most likely the original engine. This was a grandpa truck. and wasn't messed with. The a/c is all hooked up and may work. The fan does not come on when you turn the knob. so I'm not sure if it's charged or not. It's an underdash unit which either came from the factory or was dealer added. It could have been either way with a jeep. The truck drives really nice down the highway. Tires in the pics are not included. Other usable tires will be mounted on the factory wheels. I'm using these tires on my sons cherokee. The transmission works great. Brakes and steering work as they should. All lights work. Radio works and sound great! (for an original radio from this era). The engine starts up nice and doesn't smoke. Doesn't tick. knock. or overheat. No noticeable leaks. No water in the oil or oil in the water. This truck needs no major mechanical work and I would trust it on a long trip. INTERIORThe interior is in decent shape for an unrestored truck. The carpet is not nice and needs replaced. Seat and door panels are usable. I don't think the seat is ripped. just has some fading. Headliner. dash pad. and dash area are nice. Doors and windows work as they should. This has power steering. brakes. a/c. and tilt wheel. Seat is comfortable and interior is quiet when driving compared to many trucks of this era. Gauges work. There is no rust under the carpet. That is just a carpet pad in the pics. where the carpet is gone by feet area. Owners manual is included and original warranty card. BODYThe box on the truck has rust. It is fixable. but may be easier to find a different box for restoration. The rest of the body is very nice. No rust in the cab. floors or doors. One small spot of rust on the drivers fender (very easy repair). No other rust in the fenders. doors. hood. or frame. It's just the box that will need repair panels or replaced. No sign of any paint work ever done or any bondo. The honcho looks ok to drive now but will look sweet when restored and painted. Let me know if you have any questions. Glass is good. I'll have to double check windshield to see if it's cracked or chipped. I'm sure they're readily available also.
