Car description

Located In Yerington. Nevada. this 1966 Jeep Jeepster 4X4 with 33. 00 + miles was a full rebuild when we bought it in 2012. It has a 302 Mustang motor. 350 automatic turbo transmission from a 1975 K-5 Blazer with a B&M Shifter. 203 transfer case. stock Dana 30 rear differential. 485 Holly carb with K&N air filter (recently rebuilt). Griffin Aluminum Radiator. Dual Sump Oil Pan with dual pickups. New starter in 2012 (69-73 Ford). exhaust & mufflers in 2013. New Hayden Rapid Cool Electric Fan and adjustable fan controller installed in 2014 as Jeepster ran hot at idle when off-road. now stays running at 170 degrees. 30 gallon gas tank. Heater works excellent. but needs to be hooked up for defrosters. Tires are 33 x 950 x 15 and as you can see in the picture have plenty of tread left on them. Have both full soft top (back window cracked. so needs repair or replacement-existing top will make excellent pattern) and Safari top. back bench seat and seat belts for backseat. plus several extra bearings. seals. master cylinder. high volume oil pump. assorted brake parts. new vintage style gauges. extra drivers side front fender. Haynes Repair Manual to cover the Chevy 350 transmission and 203 transfer case. plus other miscellaneous parts. This Jeepster has manual steering(early Ford pickup steering box) and brakes(original stock Jeepster 11" big brakes) and runs strong and straight. Will do 70 mph with no problem but seems to love 60 to 65 and gets around 15-16 mpg on the highway. We keep this Jeepster in our garage. but do drive it at least once a week. We love this Jeepster and never imagined we would have to sell it. but unfortunately now that we are both retired we just have to let it go as we have too many cars to keep up on. Our loss is your gain.
