1985 Jeep Cj7 Renegade. 79k miles. A/C, PB, PS, 5spd, Hard top, functional original tach and clock, Original Black Denim seats in perfect condition, Original AM radio, Bestop bikini top, Bestop soft half doors, Bestop rollbar pad.
This jeep came for Rudy’s Classic Cjs in Ohio and is completely rot free inland California sourced. Rudy did an outstanding repaint to the original color and sold the Jeep only to buy it back again before we bought it. Lots of previous owner service records and receipts for lift and steering work, tires and wheels done recently.
The jeep has a 4 inch lift with a M.O.R.E. shackle reversal kit on the front, steering box brace, new day star ½ inch leveler shackles with greasable bolts in the rear, all new ubolts, new steering stabilizer and JKS disconnects. The jeep is also fitted with Rockhard bumpers front and rear with spare tire carrier as well as a Smittybilt 10k winch with synthetic rope. Tunes are provided by a weatherproof Wetsounds Stealth 6 Ultra HD Bluetooth speaker mounted to the rollbar with remote. The AMC 20 rear end just had all new bearings and seals when 1 pieces axle kit was installed. The transfer case and diff yokes were upgraded to the ubolt style for strength and reliability. Tires are 33X12.50x15 Toyo with very few miles mounted on some eye catching 15x8 Ultra Wheels. I have also added stock CJ mirrors for topless/doorless driving. Everything works including the A/C and under hood light with the only exception of temp gauge (I have new sensor but have not diagnosed). All original badging is in place and the Jeep drives exceptionally well, tight and brings back sweet memories of the 1980s Highschool day’s.
