Call…  706-831-1899 Up for auction is a 1974 Jeep CJ5. This is an affordable and a great looking Jeep for the summer and beyond. It’s perfect for the beach. the farm. or as a hunting rig. I purchased the Jeep locally from an insurance/investor businessman who used the Jeep as a hunting rig for him and his young boys. He drove the Jeep back and forth from his hunting land about 40 miles away. With that being said he obviously kept the CJ serviced and mechanically sound and I actually have receipts where he spent around $1800 on the Jeep last year. That consisted of new clutch. resurface flywheel. new shocks. wheel alignment. drive shaft U-joints. brakes. wheel cylinders. speedometer cable and few other odds and ends. The stereo system hooks up to an I-phone for music only. It has an amp and speakers. The paint is pretty good and it’s shiny and smooth but it does have a little age and some cracks. The body is solid including the undercarriage. It has fairly new IROK Super Swampers 36x13. 50-15LT’s mounted on Pacer polished chrome wheels. It has a brand new BeStop soft top & doors. It also has new KC Daytime running lights…no windshield wipers. The interior has all new Auto Meter Sport Comp gauges. The front seats are good condition grey cloth high back seats with Mossy Oak Breakup Infinity seat covers on them. The rear seat is Rugged Ridge.   The motor is the strong running original in-line 6 cylinder with the original 3 speed transmission. The motor starts right up and runs excellent. It has been tuned and serviced and it’s good. I do hear a small exhaust leak around the muffler but just faint. The Jeep runs and drives just fine and 4x4 works just like it should. The Jeep is not perfect but it is as described above. The reserve is very reasonable and probably actually a very good bargain on the CJ.
