LOW opening bid might win this exceptionally clean desert southwest Wagoneer Limited. It has the rare and desirable 401 engine. I purchased this Jeep from a businessman in Phoenix in February 2019. He was using it as a daily driver in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. It was completely unrestored with approximately 89k miles. I have several before pictures so you can be assured you are getting a clean vehicle.
I put a high quality paint job on it along with a new woodgrain kit. The photos don't do the paint justice. It really "pops" in the sunlight and is very straight. Additionally, the paint has been wet sanded (to 2000 grit) and buffed to virtually eliminate orange peel. The paint on this Jeep is better than any finish the factory ever put on a Wagoneer when they were new. You are getting a show quality paint job.
This Wagoneer Limited runs and drives great. The rare 401 engine effortlessly powers the Jeep through any terrain with help from the quadratrac 4 wheel drive. The normally troublesome power tailgate window works properly. The leather seats are some of the most comfortable I have ever known. The air conditioning blows cold.
There are a few things that could be done to take this Wagoneer to the next level: there is no radio or radio antenna mast (but the base is on the fender), it needs a headliner and could use new carpeting. The leather seats are extremely comfortable but age cracked NOT ripped. They don't need to be redone necessarily but if you want perfect you would want to recover them. Wagonmaster has completely redone front and rear seats with console (armrest) for $1995 ready to ship. It needs the rubber strip on one of the bumper guards and the corner of one of the bumper chrome needs to be redone. The grill could be reanodized See pics. All told about 3000-3500 to finish this Jeep. None of these things need to be done, I'm just pointing out what is keeping this Wagoneer from being a $50k+ Jeep. The only snow its seen is for the "staged" photos in my driveway. I have never driven it in the snow.
I have 4 Wagoneers/Cherokees and am going to sell 2 (the other is a 4 door '77 Cherokee Chief S, dark blue with painted white top and white interior). The other 2 are projects.
All told, this is an excellent example of one of the most desirable Jeep Wagoneers ever made and will put a smile on the new owners face for years to come.Bidders with less than 10 feedback please contact me prior to bidding or I will cancel your bid.
Serious bidders please contact me with any questions or additional photo requests 216 310-1107 or through ebay. Thanks
