1988 Grand Wagoneer 4. 8L Gen IV LY2 Vortec Engine put in at 170. 82 miles. The engine had 61. 04mi when it was put in. Engine was bought from BOW auto on Ebay. Look them up they're great. The 4L60E had 55K on it. I used all of Novaks adapters and mounts including their radiator to install a more modern engine. The engine came out of a 2008 gmc sierra. The vin for that it 1GTEK14C38Z115113. There is an electric fan hooked up to the radiator that cools it really well. B&M cooler for the tranny. I kept the original NP229 transfer case using Novaks adapter. Starts in any weather. It's fuel injected! The dash is in awesome shape. All windows and locks work. Also installed was a newer keyless entry system. New battery to match the motor. Ball joints. new front bearings. and tires have about 5K on them. Has a redhead steering box in it(known to be the best). 30 gallon gas tank. Aftermarket kenwood radio with two new front speakers. Newer Mirror with compass and temp. I also have a brand new rear bumper that I haven't put on yet that goes with. This car has been a daily driver for me for the last couple months before and after the engine swap and runs a lot better than the AMC engine ever could. 295HP and 305 Tq Probably more with the 4'' intake from novak. Lots of extra parts. New Shocks. The bad. Painted the floor with gloss black rust paint and fixed a couple soft spots so its solid(frame is solid). but it needs new carpet. Needs a new headliner put in and some of the inner pieces put back in like the middle front seat. visors. and AC duct. (I have them) Has rust on the rockers/rear wheel wells. Needs new rear wheel bearing which I have all parts for just need to be installed. And lastly during this cold winter the windshield got a crack the started from the middle bottom. The car is a great running driving project that needs to be finished by someone with more time to get it done. Any questions please ask before bidding.
