1986 CJ-7 FROM CENTRAL CALIFORNIA ASSEMBLE IN FINAL PRODUCTION MONTH JAN 1986

Selling a very hard to find late production jeep cj-7 renegade that is rot free from central dry California! This cj-7 was produced on January 19,1986 and the last cj-7 to roll out was on January 28, 1986. The inside production sticker is stamp jan 19, 86 as you can see in the picture and this is very desirable for the true collector. You can't get any closer to the last jeep cj-7 made except for this one and there might be a few left out there that were made after this and i bet you can count them on your hand! This jeep was a one owner until i purchase it from the son who's dad pass away. His dad bought it brand new from DUTCH CHANDLER MOTORS in Sanger CA on 5-5-1986. He towed it behind his rv all around California and the true driven mileage is unknown but as you can tell from the interior it was not much. I have the owners manual and the original window sticker. Since its a very late production it has the dana 44 rear end and they are very hard to find since only so few had them for the 1986 model year. Whats even more hard to find is the honey denim interior which is in amazing condition! Collins brothers is selling just the sun visors for 450.00 and i could only imagine how much they would sell the seats and dash for! Since this jeep was sold in California it has the 1 serpentine belt instead of the 2 v-belts which people love to have. Since this was a 1 owner it has the perfect car-fax and auto-check reports. With all that not being enough here are a few more goodies! The hardtop have never been taken off the jeep and still has the retainers located at the windshield frame and hardtop. Plus it has air condition that still works and it has the factory radio that also works! Very hard to find a late production jeep renegade with all these options that will just keep going up in major value every year. The wheels i had powder coated and brand new tires installed. Since this jeep sat a bit there were some other maintenance items installed- new coolant hoses,carburetor,front pads and rotors. All the outside and dash lights work. When shifting into 4wd the orange indicator lights comes and 4wd works as it should. It is a 5 speed transmission and has power brakes and power steering with tilt steering. The cigarette lighter evens works and it still has the cb radio under the drivers seat if you desire to use it. Has the extra capacity 20 gallon fuel tank and heavy duty cooling system. The jeep is located in Denver Colorado and could be driven home or i can help with transportation. The floor mats do not come with the jeep but i will sell them out of my collection if the winning bidder would like to have them. I do not see any oil leaks that drip in my garage. The pilot bearing should be replace down the road nothing major as sometimes you can hear it and the windshield frame had some rocks chips from being towed that turn into some very light surface rust that has been touched up. Floor pans are very clean and white! If you like more pictures or have any questions please ask. This jeep has never been painted and retains the original paint from factory. It just pass the tough California smog in December 2019. All glass looks to be in great shape with no rock chips. Nothing better then some California sheet metal as you can tell from the pics where the rocker molding meets the fender there are no gaps and it is very tight. If the jeep does not meet my reserve i might relist it or i might keep it in my classic car/jeep collection. It could go up on bring a trailer website also. Jeep season is coming very quick and this renegade would be a great jeep to buy and enjoy for years! If you have under 10 feedback please email before bidding! All gauges do work but i notice today that the wipers do not work and it could be just a fuse. I left the tow connector cable tie wrap under the hood in case someone wants to tow this behind there motor home. The jeep is 34 years old and not a brand new jeep wrangler so there is no warranty. I have plenty more pictures but only can upload 24. The jeep shifts with no issues through all 5 gears and there is no stalling issues at all. Drives like it was brand new in 1986! The passenger seat belt does not retract.
