1980 Jeep CJ5 Fiberglass V8 Chevy 307 Manual

Super clean, no rust, 1980 Jeep CJ5 V8 with manual trans. Fiberglass body, hood, and fenders. Manual transmission and about (undocumented) 80,500. Currently titled and located in St. Paul, Minnesota.

New(er) American Racing aluminum rims on 31 x 10.5 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires (less than 1 yr/700 miles), locking glove box, custom roll cage, heavy duty fabricated White Knuckle Off Road rock sliders. New Kentrol hood latches.Other stuff to know: This is a toy and isn’t a daily driver. While I’ve driven in 55 mph with no trouble, you should know it is a CJ with leaf springs so it can float around a little at high speeds (like all CJs do) but there is no bump steer. There is no heater or radio (I use a portable Bluetooth speaker to prevent theft). I have a bikini/bikini top with rear windscreen, No hard top or doors. I don’t have the emergency brake connected but I just keep it in gear with a wheel choke as a fail-safe.
Why am I selling: I work in an office all day and have two little kids. I work with my head all day and I find I decompress well and get enjoyment out of working with my hands and zoning out in my “spare” time. I’m not a “gear-head.” I use YouTube, Jeep websites and forums to learn, and local mechanics and professionals for the serious and long time commitment stuff. That said I don’t have much more to do on this Jeep and I bought another project (1984 CJ7) that I’m going to start working on next. I don’t see any oil or fluid leaks on my garage floor from this Jeep so if there is any leak it would be very minor!
