Selling my 1985 CJ7 Laredo. Runs very strong and starts up every time. Many new parts, very solid frame, floor pans, etc. This was a farm truck for many years prior to my owning it, and it's clear that they enjoyed running it around the farm. For a 35 year old jeep, I feel it's in great shape. Sure it has some rust and character, but I get tons of compliments in this thing, everywhere I go!
I've put a lot of work into this Jeep over the last several months. This is my first CJ7, and I've learned a lot about them as I've spent time under the hood. Previous owner performed the "nutter" bypass (carb stepper motor) and removed a lot of the smog equipment. I disassembled, cleaned and tuned the carb, replaced the plugs and set the timing, and this thing is running very strong! Rear main seal and valve cover gasket replaced. New parts listed below. Also included (but not pictured) are a hard top that needs work (former sunroof with a patch) and two full original doors. Doors work well, but are not in great shape. Speedometer works, tach works. Standard "jeep things" like other misc gauges not working and typical fender/quarter panel rust (nothing that some patch work couldn't fix if you really wanted to. There is some rust under the roll bar that extends into the tub/wheel well . Please don't hesitate to ask for more pictures! I've tried my best to describe this vehicle, as I don't want anyone to be surprised. No Reserve. Listed for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
